Charter Reservation Form and Policies
For phone inquiries, please call Peter Hayes at (510) 717-4439.
Pegasus Voyage Policies Payment: After we receive your reservation request, we will email you promptly as to whether your first- or second-choice date is available. Please note that we accept only groups, and the rate is the same regardless of the size of your party (maximum six people). Once you and we agree on a date, we will e-mail instructions for paying online (via credit-card or bank account). Alternatively, you may mail us a U.S. check or money order, or deliver cash. Reservations are not guaranteed until paid. Once payment has been received, we will email or call you to confirm your voyage reservation. Please note: Discount rates for Doubletree Hotel guests require proof of residency before embarkation. What to Bring: DoubleTree Hotel guests are offered meal packages for all voyages. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks can be prepared for your adventure. Please contact Doubletree Room Service at 548-7920 ext. 7274 for special discounted pricing and ordering. Meal packages require 24-hour advance ordering. It's important to review our What To Bring page regarding appropriate food, drink, clothing, etc., as well as suggestions for post-voyage dining. Safety and behavior: We put safety first, yours and our own included. By law, the captain is in command of the vessel and the passengers. You will be required to wear a life jacket, and we recommend that adults and children also use safety harnesses. Refunds:
Rescheduling: Rescheduling will be attempted on a case-by-case basis. If possible, we will reschedule a voyage if requested more than 48 hours before scheduled departure. Weather cancellations or postponement: A voyage may be rescheduled only at the discretion of the captain. Unless there are thunderstorms with lightning in the offing, we sail. Thus, weather cancellations are rare. If the captain decides to cancel due to weather, then we will attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, then a full refund will be made. No weapons: No weapons of any kind are permitted on Pegasus. Sailing knives are permitted only if approved by the captain before departure. No drugs: Pegasus is a drug-free vessel. We take kids sailing, and we expect crew and passengers to model exemplary behavior in this regard. Pegasus is an alcohol-free vessel. Alcohol makes many people seasick, and also reduces everyone's ability to move safely and to operate the vessel. Medications are permitted, but the captain must be advised and approve medications before departure. Privacy: Your personally identifiable information will not be shared or sold. I understand the policies specified above, and will ensure that my party abides by them.
